Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on proposed Ancillary Dwelling - Rural, Garage and Horse Stables (Rural Pursuit/Hobby Farm - Keeping of 2 Horses) in the Swan Valley planning area.

The application proposes the following towards the centre of the lot:

1. Ancillary Dwelling – Rural: 96.4m2
2. A 4-vehicle Garage: 117.58m2
3. Rural Pursuit/Hobby Farm – Provision of four (4) Horse Stables (each 20.4m2 ) and keeping of maximum two (2) horses on site at any one given time. Please refer to attached Equine Management Plan for further details.
4. Additional structures – courtyard, and store areas The development site is located within a designated bushfire prone area. The application is accompanied by a Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) Assessment which identifies the development area having a BAL rating of BAL-19. (Refer to attached BAL Report)
