The Western Australian Planning Commission has received a development application (REF #21-51090-1) for proposed agricultural and food production development on Lot 1 (No.8931) West Swan Road, Henley Brook under the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No. 1.
The application proposes:
revival of existing 2.2 hectares vineyard
cultivation of various seasonal fruit and vegetables on approx. 1.6 hectares
utilisation of existing wayside stall located in front to sell a portion of the fruits and vegetables grown onsite
incorporation of a small-scale food production unit within the wayside stall that will specialise in artisan bakery products such as breads.
The applicant has advised that a total of 2-3 persons will work at both the agricultural pursuit and the food and beverage production operation. The proposed hours of operation for the food and beverage business will be from 6am to 4pm, Thursday to Sunday.
The application is open for comment until 20 July 2026.
