Have Your Say on the Albany North District Structure Plan.

Engagement closes 25 June 2025.

About the project

The Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (the Department) is preparing the Albany North District Structure Plan (DSP) for the area highlighted in the map above. The DSP will be developed in collaboration with the City of Albany (City), on behalf of the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

The Albany North DSP primarily aims to unlock land, identify headworks, and help deliver housing supply and economic growth for Albany's growing population. With the necessary planning framework in place, the project will facilitate responsible growth in both Albany and the region, in years to come.

The preparation of the DSP will involve consultation with community and stakeholders, landowners, businesses, service authorities and relevant government agencies.
