Hotel and Commercial Development, Victoria Park - Part 11B Application for Significant Development
Consultation closes 12 July 2026
A significant development application for a hotel and commercial development in Victoria Park has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application proposes an 8-storey building at 555-577 Albany Highway and 2 Rathay Street, Victoria Park with the following elements:
- 2 commercial tenancies with an approximate total area of 317 sqm
- a hotel with 145 hotel rooms
- guest amenities including ground-floor lobby/reception area and restaurant on the ground floor; and pool and function/meeting rooms on level 1
- ground floor parking for cars, motorcycles/scooters and bicycles at the rear, with access via Rathay Street.
The application from Planning Solutions on behalf of Parna Australia Pty Ltd, care of Cartouche Advisory Pty Ltd, is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 12 July 2026.
The development is valued at $38 million.
