Overview
A significant development application for a residential apartments development in Inglewood has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application proposes a four-storey social housing development with 50 apartments, associated parking, communal areas and landscaping at 969 and 971 Beaufort St, Inglewood.
The development consists of the following elements:
- Demolition of the existing building on the site.
- Construction of a four-storey building with 50 social housing apartments intended for seniors.
- Seven two-bedroom apartments, 42 one-bedroom apartments and one studio apartment.
- 28 parking bays, two communal areas and landscaping.
The application from Planning Solutions on behalf of Spinnaker Developments is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 23 March 2025.
The development is valued at $22.87 million.
