Overview
A significant development application for residential apartments and a cafe has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application proposes to demolish the existing building and construct a six-storey building with apartments and a cafe at Lot 72 (872) Beaufort Street, Inglewood.
The development consists of the following elements:
- 27 apartments with 8 one-bedroom, 9 two-bedroom and 8 three-bedroom dwellings, and 2 three-bedroom penthouse apartments
- A ground floor café with an alfresco dining area to Beaufort Street
- Basement parking comprising 38 car bays and four motorcycle bays accessible from Lawry Lane at the rear, and
- Communal open space for residents.
The application from Urbanista Town Planning on behalf of Property Development (WA) Pty Ltd is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 15 June 2025.
The development is valued at $20 million.
