Proposed Floreat Precinct Structure Plan
Overview
The Floreat Precinct Structure Plan (PSP) has been prepared by Hatch RobertsDay, an urban planning organisation, on behalf of Australasian Property Investments Limited (APIL) Group, the owners of the existing Floreat Forum shopping centre.
The proposed PSP involves land in and around the Floreat district centre, bound by The Boulevard (to the north), Hornsey Road (to the east), Oceanic Drive (to the south) and Howtree Place (to the west), located within the local government area of the Town of Cambridge (the Town) - Location Plan.
The PSP sets out a range of detailed design and built form controls to guide development of the land within and surrounding the Floreat district centre, which is intended to be a vibrant mixed-use precinct with a broad range of residential, commercial and retail uses.
What is happening now?
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is currently seeking feedback on the draft PSP, available in the Document Library.
You can also view the documents in person at the Town of Cambridge administration centre at 1 Bold Park Drive, Floreat or the Cambridge Library at 99 The Boulevard during office hours.
Additional background information and FAQs are also available detailing the circumstances and process leading up to its advertising.
