Extension of Submission Period
Overview
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on a proposal to amend the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) for land in the City of Swan.
The purpose of the amendment is to transfer approximately:
11.94 hectares of land in Brabham from the Parks and Recreation reservation to the Urban zone and remove the designation for Bush Forever Area 200 over approximately 1.22 hectares of this land.
5.11 hectares of land within Brabham from the Public Purposes - Special Uses reservation to the Urban Deferred zone
2.79 hectares of land in Brabham and Dayton from the Public Purposes - Special Uses reservation to the Urban zone; and
6,363 square metres of land in Brabham from the Primary Regional Roads reservation to the Urban Deferred zone.
The proposed amendment is to be progressed as a standard region scheme amendment as the amendment is not complex and does not represent a significant change to the strategic planning for the Metropolitan region.
