Overview

A significant development application for a car park and commercial tenancy in Murdoch has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.

The application proposes the construction of a seven-storey car park with a ground floor commercial tenancy at 55 Barry Marshall Parade, Murdoch.

The development consists of the following elements:

  • 515 public car parking bays
  • 49 motorcycle bays
  • Ground floor commercial/retail tenancy with a floor area of 1,010m2.

The application from Lateral Planning on behalf of Human Urban is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 13 July 2025.

The development is valued at $50 million.

Local residents: Application documents can also be viewed by appointment at the City of Melville Civic Centre, 10 Almondbury Road, Booragoon between 8.30am and 5pm weekdays. Call 9364 0666 to make an appointment with the relevant City statutory planner with carriage of the application.
