A significant development application for proposed apartments in North Perth has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application proposes a five-storey residential development with 52 apartments, parking and landscaping at 407–409 Charles Street, North Perth.
The development consists of the following elements:
Demolition of the site’s existing building.
31 one-bedroom apartments and 21 two-bedroom apartments.
33 car parking bays and two motorcycle bays for residents, and 3 car parking bays for visitors, all located to the rear of the development at ground level.
Vehicle access provided via a central driveway from Charles Street.
Communal facilities for residents, including open space on the ground floor along with internal and external areas located on the top floor.
The application from Planning Solutions on behalf of Spinnaker Developments is required to be advertised to seek public comment and is open until 19 February 2026.
