Overview

A significant development application for a residential apartment development in Sorrento has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.

The application proposes a seven-storey residential apartment building comprising 83 multiple dwellings, basement parking, communal facilities and landscaping at 3 Delos Way, Sorrento.

The development consists of the following elements:

• A total of 83 dwellings with 18 one-bedroom apartments, 38 two-bedroom apartments and 27 three-bedroom apartments.
• Two levels of basement car parking with 148 bays for residents as well as visitor parking.
• Communal facilities including a pool and associated open space, as well as internal amenity rooms.
• Landscaped gardens including deep soil areas.
• Access from Delos Way (via Hepburn Avenue).

The application from Urbis is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 20 December 2024.

The development is valued at $80 million.
