Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is inviting feedback on the draft Station Precincts Improvement Scheme No. 1 (draft Scheme) and its supporting documents. The draft Scheme applies to the following eight station precincts:

  • Bassendean
  • Carlisle-Oats Street
  • Claisebrook
  • Cottesloe
  • Glendalough
  • Morley
  • Mosman Park
  • Swanbourne

The draft Scheme aims to support greater housing choice and a consistent planning approach across the eight precincts while responding to the character of each local area.

You can provide your feedback on:

  • Draft Station Precincts Improvement Scheme No. 1 | Scheme Maps – which show the Scheme boundary and proposed reserves, zones, residential densities and other mapped planning controls
  • Draft Station Precincts Improvement Scheme No. 1 | Scheme Text – which contains the statutory provisions that would apply within the Scheme area
  • Draft Station Precincts Improvement Scheme Report | Parts 1 – 3 – which explain the strategic basis for the Scheme, how it will operate, and the planning direction for each station precinct
  • Draft Station Precincts Heritage Policy – which establishes the Station Precincts Heritage List and guides how development affecting listed heritage places should be assessed
  • Public Realm Contributions Discussion Paper – which seeks feedback on a simplified framework for contributions towards public realm improvements

The draft documents are available under 'Key Documents' on the right and can also be viewed during business hours at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, 140 William Street, Perth and the local government offices for the respective station precincts.
