Overview

A mixed-use significant development application with apartments, a hotel and commercial tenancies in Cottesloe has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 17 of the Planning and Development Act (2005).

The application proposes demolition of existing commercial buildings and construction of a mixed-use building up to 17 storeys with 125 apartments, a 128-room hotel, commercial tenancies and basement parking at 7-11 Station Street, Cottesloe.

The proposed development consists of the following elements:

  • Two buildings with an overall height of 15 and 17 storeys above a three-storey podium,
  • 125 multiple dwellings consisting of five studio apartments, four one-bedroom apartments, 65 two-bedroom apartments, 49 three-bedroom apartments and two four-bedroom apartments,
  • A 128-room hotel with restaurant, function area, lounge, bar, co-working spaces, and pool,
  • 1,300sqm of commercial and retail floor space,
  • Residential communal amenities on the podium roof including pool, cocktail lounge and gym,
  • Four levels of basement parking with 289 car bays and two access points from Station Street,
  • Pedestrian link from Station Street to De Nardi Lane.

This application from Element Advisory is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 4 November 2024.

The development is valued at $200 million.
