Proposed Outbuilding - Lot 8 (No.240) Oakover Road, Middle Swan

The Western Australian Planning Commission has received a development application (REF #21-51073-1) for the addition of an outbuilding (shed) to an existing single house at Lot 8 (No. 240) Oakover Road, Middle Swan for storage purposes.

The outbuilding measures 7 metres in width by 9 metres in length with a total area of 63 square metres and height of 3.938 metres. The outbuilding is to be constructed from colorbond steel in the colour Ironstone. The application proposes a variation to the minimum side setback requirement of the Swan Valley Rural zone under the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No.1, as the outbuilding is setback a minimum 5.5 metres in lieu of the required 15 metres.

The application is open for comments until 29 April 2026.
