Consultation closes 27 February

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) has received a development application proposing the construction of a nine-storey building consisting of 73 apartments, one incidental office, and parking at Lot 9664 (No 1) Park Lane, Bassendean.

The lot is 3,353m2 in size and is located at the intersection of Park Lane, Guildford Road and Wilson Street, Bassendean.

Lodged under Part 10 of the Metropolitan Region Scheme, the development application proposes:

  • 73 apartments (social and affordable housing) and one incidental office
  • indoor and outdoor communal space for residents
  • parking with 54 standard car bays and 46 bicycle bays, and
  • landscaping and ancillary service areas.

The application from DevelopmentWA is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 27 February 2026.

The development is valued at $38 million.
