Consultation closes 21 August 2025
Revised plans for a Commercial Development - Bulky Goods Showrooms, Trade Supplies and Restaurant/Cafe at Lot 805, Chapman Hill Road, Bovell have been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act (2005).
The revised plans propose a change to the previously advertised land uses to include ‘Trade Supplies’ for proposed Tenancy 1. This is in addition to the ‘Bulky Goods Showrooms’ and ‘Restaurant/Café’ uses advertised in December 2024-January 2025.
The revised proposal is otherwise broadly consistent with the development plans formerly advertised, with some modifications to vehicle access, landscaping and parking made in response to issues raised during the previous advertising and assessment of the application.
Since these elements are not considered substantial revisions, any feedback is best limited to the revised land use only.
The revised proposal is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until Thursday, 21 August 2025.
The value of the development remains $170 million.
