Consultation closes 24 May 2026

A significant development application for a single tenancy commercial development in Dalyellup has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.

The development application proposes a warehouse store at Lots 502 and 505 (538) Bussell Highway, Dalyellup consisting of the following elements:

  • A 18,858m2 single commercial tenancy with a bulky goods showroom, trade supplies, garden centre, and incidental café and office
  • 349 car parking bays and 12 trailer parking bays
  • Bulk earthworks and retaining walls to facilitate a levelled site
  • Access and/or egress via three vehicle crossovers on Bussell Highway and Lillydale Road
  • Landscaping and signage (two 12 metre high pylons and wall signs)

The application from SLR Consulting on behalf of Claradon Property Pty Ltd is being advertised for public comment until 24 May 2026.

The development is valued at $40 million.

Local residents: The application documents can be viewed online or in person at the Shire of Capel offices at 31 Forrest Road, Capel weekdays 8.30am–4.30pm and the City of Bunbury offices at 4 Stephen Street, Bunbury weekdays 8.30am–5pm for the duration of the submission period.
