Esplanade Hotel, Port Hedland - Heritage Conservation Works and Partial Demolition
The Western Australian Planning Commission has received a development application for the partial demolition of the Esplanade Hotel and external remediation works at Lots 100 and 505 Anderson Street, Port Hedland, under the Port Hedland West End Improvement Scheme No.1
The application proposes to demolish and remove the contemporary 2013 additions to the Esplanade Hotel and restore the remaining external building façade. The hotel is listed as a Grade ‘B’ site on the Town of Port Hedland Heritage Inventory (2017).
