Overview

A significant development application for a residential aged care facility at 20 Champion Road, Lesmurdie has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 17 of the Planning and Development Act 2005.

The application proposes a purpose-built residential aged care facility adjoining the existing Sunshine Park Lifestyle Village which would also be operated by Roshana Care Group, Lesmurdie.

The proposed development consists of the following elements:

• 81 beds with 75 single bedrooms and six double bedrooms over three levels.
• A reconfigured, joint parking area with Sunshine Park with additional bays to a total of 64 car bays, two mini-bus parking bays and one ambulance bay.
• Ground floor café for residents and guests in the entrance foyer.

This application from Hidding Urban Planning on behalf of Roshana Care Group is required to be advertised to seek public comment and is open until 20 January 2025.

The development is valued at $21 million.
