The Western Australian Planning Commission has received an application (REF #935-25) proposing a survey strata subdivision for 105 residential lots to facilitate development of an over 55’s retirement village at Lot 639 (No742) Great Northern Highway, Herne Hill.

The subject site is zoned Village within the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No.1 (SVPS1) and is 44,633sqm in size. The proposal consists of:

  • 105 residential lots
  • 1 community centre lot
  • waste water treatment plant, and
  • 43 visitor bays.

The application is open for comments until 23 March 2026.
