A development application for the construction of a new six-storey hospital building and a central energy plant building has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 8 of the Peel Region Scheme.
The proposed development is located at 110 Lakes Road, Greenfields (Lot 3001 on DP 43727), adjacent to Peel Health Campus. It comprises:
a new six-storey hospital building, with five levels containing an emergency department and general hospital clinic uses and a sixth level containing plant infrastructure;
a central energy plant building;
associated parking and landscaping; and
supporting infrastructure.
The application, submitted by the Department of Housing and Works, is being advertised for public comment and is open until 9 September 2026.
The development is valued at $950.6 million (estimated).
