Port Hedland West End, Proposed Demolition of Pier Hotel - Development Application

Overview

The Western Australian Planning Commission has received a development application for the demolition of the historic Pier Hotel across Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 101 and 400 The Esplanade, Port Hedland, under the Port Hedland West End Improvement Scheme No. 1.

The application proposes to demolish and remove the Pier Hotel and adjacent buildings which are listed as a Grade ‘B’ site on the Town of Port Hedland Heritage Inventory (2017).
