Residential Aged Care Facility, Shenton Park – Application under the Shenton Park Hospital Redevelopment Improvement Scheme No. 1
Consultation closes 16 August 2026
A development application for a residential aged care facility has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 10 of the Shenton Park Hospital Redevelopment Improvement Scheme No. 1.
Located at Lot 42 (No. 10) Thorburn Way and Lot 43 (No. 27) Seymour Avenue, Shenton Park, the application proposes construction of the following:
- 183 rooms (21 suites and 163 studios) over four storeys
- resident amenities including lounge spaces, dining areas, activity spaces, self-serve café, day spa, cinema/chapel and bookable dining spaces, and
- outdoor alfresco areas, courtyard and terraces.
The application from SLR Consulting Australia Pty Ltd on behalf of Regis Aged Care Pty Ltd is required to be advertised to seek public comment and is open until 16 August 2026.
The development is valued at $50 million.
