A significant development application for residential apartments and a commercial tenancy in Subiaco has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application proposes three residential buildings up to 12 storeys with 236 apartments and a ground floor commercial tenancy at 2 Upham Street, Subiaco.
The application consists of the following elements:
Three residential buildings of 12, 9 and 7 storeys
Apartment composition:
62 one-bedroom apartments
101 two-bedroom apartments
73 three-bedroom apartments
a 155m2 ground floor commercial tenancy (restaurant/café)
327 on-site parking bays, 187 bicycle bays, 24 on-street public parking bays, and
residential amenities, including a communal swimming pool.
The application from Rowe Group on behalf of Tarkine Property Pty Ltd trading as Cedar Woods is required to be advertised to seek public comment and is open until 21 December 2025.
