Consultation closes 19 December
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) is seeking public comment on the Swan Valley Planning Scheme No. 1 Amendment. it is proposed to modify:
the scheme map to extend the Additional Use No.13 (A13) over Part of Lot 104 (No.29) Dale Road, Middle Swan, and
the scheme text for A13 set out in Schedule 2 – Additional Uses to insert reference to Pt Lot 104 (No.29) Dale Road, Middle Swan.
This would enable the WAPC to consider future appropriateness of an Educational Establishment land use on the site. The proposed Scheme Amendment is being advertised in accordance with the Swan Valley Planning Act 2020 and the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
The Swan Valley Statutory Planning Committee, on behalf of the WAPC, will then consider all submissions and recommend whether the Minister for Planning should approve the proposed scheme amendment. The Scheme Amendment would not be an approval to commence development. If the Scheme Amendment is approved by the Minister for Planning, the landowner would then need to lodge a more detailed application for development approval, which would be advertised prior to being determined by the WAPC.
The application is open for comments until 19 December 2025.
Further information and proposed plans can be found under Key Documents.
