A development application for a new Women and Babies Hospital at 19 Jennalup Street, Murdoch, City of Melville has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
Theapplication proposes the construction of a new hospital comprising a twelve-storey main block with a 6-storey companion building, a linking pedestrian bridge, emergency and service vehicle access, drop off bays, associated landscaping and public realm improvements, and patient transfer bridge connection to Fiona Stanley Hospital.
The application from WA Life is being advertised to seek public comments and is open until 8 December 2025.
