Women and Newborn Service Expansion, Osborne Park Hospital - Application under the Metropolitan Region Scheme
Public comment on this development application closed on 15 December and the application is now under assessment. Feedback from the community, key stakeholders and local government will be considered in order to inform a recommendation for the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC).

Overview
A development application for the proposed women and newborn service expansion over the northern portion of Osborne Park Hospital at 26 Osborne Place, Stirling has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
This application proposes the construction of a 6-storey main block with an interconnected service building, emergency and service vehicle access, drop-off bays, associated landscaping and public realm improvements.
The proposed development is part of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project.
The application from WA Life on behalf of the Office of Major Infrastructure Delivery is being advertised to seek public comments.
