Amendment Application – Service Commercial Development – Bulky Goods Showrooms, Trade Supplies and Restaurant/Cafe, Bovell – Part 11B Significant Development
Consultation closes on 26 March 2026
An application to amend an approved Service Commercial development at Lot 805 Chapman Hill Road, Bovell has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The application approved by the WAPC on 24 September 2025 comprises bulky goods showrooms, a trade supplies tenancy and a restaurant/café.
The amendment application proposes a change in the land use approved for Tenancy 12C from ‘Bulky Goods Showroom’ to ‘Trade Supplies’. No other modifications are proposed, including to the approved built form, signage, landscaping or access arrangements.

This amendment application seeks to change one aspect of the approved development and comments are invited in relation to that proposed change only.
The application from Urbis on behalf of Arise Developments is required to be advertised to seek public comments and consultation is open until 26 March 2026.
The approved development was valued at $170 million and there is no change to the value as part of the amendment application.
