Overview
A significant development application for a motor vehicle showroom and workshop in Midvale has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.
The proposal for 181 Morrison Road, Midvale consists of the following elements:
- A two-storey vehicle sales showroom with a 1,400m2 floor area, including offices, reception area, café and meeting rooms
- A two-storey 28-work bay vehicle workshop building (1,800m2)
- An eight-bay vehicle detailing facility (475m2)
- A single-storey covered customer service parking area (23 bays) connecting the showroom and workshop buildings
- A two-vehicle enclosed automatic vehicle wash and covered drying structure
- A 40-car vehicle external display area
- 131 external car parking spaces including 108 pre-delivery bays and two truck loading bays, and
- Ancillary structures, including advertising signage, public art and landscaping.
The application from Urbanista Town Planning on behalf of Automotive Property Midland Pty Ltd is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 8 June 2025.
The development is valued at $23.1 million.
