An application to amend an approved Residential Apartments and Commercial Tenancies development at 288 and 290 Cambridge Street, Wembley has been received by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) under Part 11B of the Planning and Development Act 2005.

The amendment application proposes modifications to the approved plans summarised as:

  • External building material and facade changes
  • Reduction of ground floor retail space (-6m2)
  • Changes to the ground floor and mezzanine level layouts
  • Removal of 1 window on the east and west elevations of each level
  • Removal of 3 residential car bays
  • Relocation of 2 motorcycle bays from the ground floor to the mezzanine level
  • Relocation of 3 bicycle bays from the mezzanine level to the ground floor and provision of 3 additional bicycle bays on the ground floor
  • Relocation of the majority of residential storerooms from the upper levels to the mezzanine level.

The approved development consists of the following elements which will not change:

  • Building height
  • Surplus of residential car bays

Since these elements are not subject to the amendment, your feedback is best limited to the proposed modifications only.

The application from Planning Solutions on behalf of John Percudani and Paul Percudani is required to be advertised to seek public comments and is open until 20 November 2025.

The approved development is valued at $24 million.
